Print and Mail Services Clerk

We seek a dynamic, hands-on Print and Mail Services Clerk to join our institution. The Print and Mail Services position is part of our print services and mail services departments and is primarily responsible for shipping and receiving mail, operating copiers and assisting in duplicating operations and equipment to meet the needs of the college. The Print and Mail Services Clerk will lead the work of students in both print and mail services. This position reports to the Director of Auxiliary Services.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. A typical work week is 37.5 hours working Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours. The pay for this position is $18.03/hour.   • Operates a variety of copiers, performs preventative maintenance tasks necessary to maintain equipment in peak operation condition, diagnoses fault codes and performs repair procedures or calls for service.
  • Works with equipment: binding, cutting, drilling, and collating to complete the production process.
  • Orders supplies and maintains inventory of various materials for the copiers and binding equipment.
  • Receives and distributes mail and packages; picks up and delivers completed print jobs.
  • Provides customer service at the counter and supports customers in use of walk-up machine.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and package shipments including USPS permit mailings and UPS and Fedex
  • shipments to both domestic and international recipients. Boxes and processes all outgoing shipments.
  • Enters shipping and information into computerized inventory and database management systems.
  • Provides direction, guidance and monitors the work of student employees.


A high school diploma or equivalent and any combination of experience and education, which provides the desired skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the printing/copying, shipping, receiving duties of the position. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license preferred.
