Reed College seeks a creative, energetic and well organized person to be our Administrative Coordinator in the Development office. The Administrative Coordinator provides excellent customer service and keeps our operations running. In this role, you will perform intermediate-level, detailed and technical clerical duties. This position is part of a dynamic and collaborative administrative team.

This is full-time role with a starting pay rate of $20/hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES  

  • Providing administrative and technical support to multiple department teams including College Relations Operations Information Systems; Donor Relations; and Corporation and Foundations.

  • Greeting and directing walk-in visitors; answering main phone line; coordinating coverage for front desk for scheduled vacancies.

  • Performing data entry across multiple platforms.

  • Preparing materials, including mailings, proposals, presentations and stewardship reports.

  • Keeping our office running smoothly: scheduling departmental meetings, ordering supplies, and reconciling purchase cards.

  • Providing support for high level donor events, including RSVP management, name tags, and attendance.

  • Providing back up support and cross-training for other administrative coordinators on development team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Three years of administrative experience or any equivalent combination of experience and education. Strong computer skills including expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google suite of products; facility with the Internet and its associated tools; ability to learn Reed-specific systems. Proofreading and copy-editing experience.
